reel of 8mm film shot from a TV screen by a fan, apparently in Australia. The

BBC hold a copy of this footage. The footage is tinted

- D - These three clips form an almost complete extract of 5:53,
which is more than one quarter of the whole episode. However, there is
one line of Maaga's dialogue missing at the junction between the first
and second clips.
- F - Held by the BBC as part of a film insert for this episode
on 35mm b/w film. It was discovered in late 1991 during research for the
RESISTANCE IS USELESS documentary.
- G - In the finished episode this footage would have been used
as part of a composite shot, rather than on its own.
- I - Held by the BBC as part of BLUE PETER (tx 25/10/71)
on cVT from 16mm b/wTR. It was discovered around June 1994 by Andrew Pixley and Paul Vanezis during the compilation of the home-video version of MORE THAN 30 YEARS IN THE TARDIS. The 0:26 Dalek
part of this clip was known about before this time due to its use on subsequent
BLUE PETER editions.
