• A line of the conversation between Brett and Krimpton about the programming of the machines is missing. (This has been restored on the BBC home video release by using the audio married with shots taken from elsewhere).
• A section from the army's attack on the warehouse has been removed.

The War Machines episode 4 (tx 16/7/66)

• Two lines of dialogue are missing when Polly reports back to WOTAN.

The Invasion episode 6 (tx 7/12/68) - current prints as transmitted?

• The best information available at the moment seems to suggest that the strange cuts to this episode (one occurs when Vaughn is testing the machine on Watkins; another with the Cyberman in the sewer) were made to the VT of this episode prior to the film recording of it, and are therefore presumably as transmitted.
